SCGA Annual Report 2023/24
The Scottish Council on Global Affairs (SCGA), the first all-Scotland global affairs institute, has published its annual report for 2023-24, which rounds up mission and activities, research highlights, and events and engagements.
Scotland has a long experience of research and policy debates around children in conflict with the law. This workshop aims to broaden this knowledge exchange by including the experiences of Scotland’s international development partners.
Organised under the Chatham House Rule to encourage open dialogue, the workshop will bring together academic experts from across Scotland, the UK, and Europe with policymakers, to explore pressing questions about the possible futures of European integration, geopolitics, and security; the evolving EU–UK relationship; and the challenges that individual European countries may face.
At a pivotal moment in international relations, the SCGA is delighted to be welcoming HE Toomas Hendrik Ilves, former President of Estonia, to speak in Scotland on 1 April on “Europe’s New Cold War”.
