SCGA Roundtable Event: August 25th 2022, University of Glasgow
The Scottish Council on Global Affairs was delighted to welcome the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office Minister Rehman Chishti and his team to Glasgow today for a roundtable on “Key Challenges facing the United Kingdom in 2022”.
Conversation ranged from the ongoing threat posed by climate change to the global coronavirus pandemic to the legitimacy and viability of the post-Cold War rules-based international order. We discussed the roots of Russian aggression against Ukraine as well as the dangers to international stability posed by the current food and energy crisis. It was a splendid event that the SCGA was delighted to host.
